…Faith for the people

Faithful Montanan’s for a living wage.

What:    A gathering of people of faith to publicly support the passage of Initiative 15, an increase in Montana’s minimum wage.

Where:   Montana Capitol Rotunda — Helena, Montana

When:    July 13, 2006 from noon until 1.

Why:      Because we are called by Jesus and the prophets to work for justice.

As the scriptures tell us:

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to the least of these my bretheren, you did it to me…” (Matthew 25:40)

“Speak out, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9)
